Megan Soft, Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Sr. Systems Engineer (Ref# SSE34HK) to work in Livonia, MI and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Job

Duties:

Develop system engineering, software engineering, system integration, or distributed system architectures, including the design, development, implementation, testing, and support of Teamcenter (TC) PLM application. Involved in product development discussions. Interact with business analysts and subject-matter experts to understand the current business processes and business process modelling and re-engineering. Gather the requirements to define ‘to-be’ processes for system architecture and application design using Teamcenter PLM tool. Interact with client business analysts in creating the Functional Specification Documents and coordinate between teams for requirement approvals. Analyze requirements / user problems to determine the feasibility of designs within time and cost constraints. Set operational specifications and formulate and analyze system / software requirements. Translate the business and functional specifications into technical specifications to prepare the high-level software design. Establish functional or system standards to address operational requirements, quality requirements, and design constraints. Act as a bridge between development teams and business analysts and subject-matter experts handling requirement analysis, feasibility study, technical challenges, and solution proposal. Responsible for Teamcenter installation, upgrade, and configuration. Responsible for database schema changes using BMIDE. Perform server- side customization using Teamcenter ITK, C, C++, PLM XML, Java, SOA, and Active Workspace. Analyze reports using TcRA (Teamcenter Reporting and Analytics). Establish integration with PLM and different systems engineering tools. Fix production issues and defects and validate new design and enhancements and help the testing team in performing regression testing to ensure the functionalities implemented work as expected for every new Teamcenter patch upgrade. Perform unit testing and provide support for the business and functional acceptance testing and train business users with the new functionalities implemented. Develop and maintain work plans for deliverables and prepare requirements for hardware installation and controls integration requirements. Train system users in system operation or maintenance.

Requirements:

This position requires a Master’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in
Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Systems Analyst, Programmer Analyst, Project Manager, or related experience. Will accept a Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering field plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience. Position requires 1 year of experience with Teamcenter. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.
